What populations and presenting issues do you work with?
Our clinicians work with individuals, couples, and families from all walks of life. We see children, teenagers, young adults, adults, and the elderly. Whether you are facing depression, anxiety, problems with romantic or family relationships, difficulty managing stress, ADHD, significant life transitions, questions about your sexuality or gender, OCD, grief, or chronic pain/illness, we can help.
Do you take insurance?
Yes. Clinicians are credentialed with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Independence Administrators, Independence Blue Cross Personal Choice, Keystone Health Plan East, and Medicare. Please call your insurance provider in advance to confirm coverage.
Should you choose not to use your insurance—for privacy concerns or other reasons—please feel free to discuss a private pay rate with your clinician. We are able to work on a sliding scale.
If you want to use your insurance but we are not in-network with your plan, we are able to provide you with an invoice that you can submit to your insurance provider seeking reimbursement.
How do I make an appointment?
If you’d like to make an appointment with one of our clinicians, please reach out to us by phone or email. We personally answer all phone calls; if we are unable to answer, we will call back as soon as possible (typically within 48 hours during the week).
What will my first appointment be like?
Prior to your first appointment, we will send you an email invitation to set up your client portal, where you can fill out our intake paperwork. Included in this paperwork is a questionnaire related to your history and the reason(s) you are coming in. If you are unable to complete this paperwork in advance online, please plan on completing it in the office before your first session.
During the first appointment, your clinician will get a more complete history, begin to develop an understanding of who you are, and discuss with you what treatment will look like and how it will help.
Importantly, the first appointment also provides the opportunity to determine whether you think you and your clinician will be a good match as you embark on the hard work of therapy together.
How long does therapy take?
That depends on a lot of different things—the presenting issue, how often you and your clinician are able to meet, and your goals.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, check, credit cards, Health Savings Account (HSA) cards, and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards.
What is your cancellation policy?
We require 24 hours advance notice of a cancellation. If you are unable to provide us with sufficient notice and cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, you will be assessed a late cancellation fee.
If you are in crisis and need help immediately, please call the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline by phone at 988 or 1-800-273-8255.
